Mulching in gardens and landscaping mimics the leaf cover that is found on forest floors. In agriculture and gardening, mulch is a protective cover placed over the soil to retain moisture, reduce erosion, provide nutrients, and suppress weed growth and seed germination in areas covered by Mulch. Mulch can save you from hours of weeding, and yard maintenance, and help plaint retain moisture save water.
